Ski With Us This Winter!

With only one year to go until the Canada Winter Games, the Martock Nordic Ski Club had an exciting and successful season of skiing and events, on the newly upgraded Nordic trails at Ski Martock. Snowmaking, and daily grooming, made trail conditions phenomenal. Consistent conditions provided an ideal environment for skiers of all ages and abilities to get out and enjoy skiing.
Saturdays were our busiest days on the trails, with our club youth ski programs, including Jackrabbits and Track Attack. Saturdays and Sundays were often busy with groups of adults learning to ski, as well as hosting events such as the Atlantics and the Provincials. Night skiing was also available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Next winter, we are looking forward to another great season. Nordic skiing and Biathlon events will be held on the trails, as part of the Canada Winter Games, from Feb 11th-27th, 2011. At that time, some trails may be closed.
Members can join the club and then opt to purchase a discounted Martock season’s pass or just join the club to support volunteers and other activities of the club.
